Grace Frances Bryant Whitfield

Grace Frances Bryant Whitfield, age 69, of Clarkesville, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016.

Born in Blue Ridge, Georgia on May 9, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Ary and Faye Watson Bryant.  Mrs. Whitfield was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Whitfield; brother, David Bryant; sister, Shirley Bone.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Jean Hancock, Connie Hancock (Thomas Fish) and Paige Ayers all of Clarkesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Joey Hancock of Clarkesville, James Hancock (Hope) of Opelika, Alabama and Leon Bell of South Carolina; brothers, Johnny Bryant of Mt. Airy and Kenneth Bryant of Demorest; sister, Linda Loggins of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Angela, Jessica, Jamie, Alex, Justin and Elizabeth Hancock, Hayden Groves and Easton Ayers; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
