Nancy Marell Childers

Mrs. Nancy Marell Childers age 86 of Gainesville passed away on Friday July 29, 2016 at Northridge Nursing Home following an extended illness.
            Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday August 02, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday August 01, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
            Mrs. Childers was born on June 22, 1930 in Dahlonega, Ga to the late William Cicero Waters and Elvia Owensby Waters. She was the retired owner and operator of Marell’s Beauty Bar in Gainesville, Ga. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert L. Childers, son, Randall Childers, and sister, Vernelle Brown.
            She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Childers of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Mandy Childers of Gainesville, grand-daughters, Michelle Blackmon, Melissa Hall, and Candi Kinsey, grand-sons, Robert Childers and Dustin Bennett, several great-grandchildren, and great great- grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, Dewey and Doris Waters of Fairburn.
            In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hall County Humane Society.
