Esther Elizabeth Staton, age 93, of Flowery Branch passed to her rest on Friday, July 29, 2016.

Private Family Services will be held.

Esther was born in Bucyrus, Ohio and was the daughter of Harvey & Edith (Walter) Layer.  She was married for 41 years to Cornelius Staton, who preceded her in death.  Esther was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn Naomi; and brother, Ken Layer.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Jan Staton of Flowery Branch; daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Robert Taylor of Paradise, California; grandchildren & spouses, Wes & Louqueta Staton of Flowery Branch, Shawn & Donna Staton of Jefferson, Terri Preston of Napa Valley, California, and Michelle & Jeff Nye of Kailua, Hawaii; great-grandchildren, Jeff Staton of Flowery Branch, Emma Marie, Rylee Anne, and Lindsey Kate Staton of Jefferson, and Katelyn and Kevin Nye of Kailua, Hawaii.
