Aline Jacklyn Hall Grant

Mrs. Aline Jacklyn Hall Grant, age 85, of Gainesville, GA passed away Friday, July 29, 2016.

She was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, GA and of the Baptist Faith. She was a wonderful wife to her late husband, John Grant, for 66 years, as well as a loving mother and grandmother who was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and loved to do puzzle books.

Aline was the daughter of the late Alton P. and Lillie Autry Hall, and was also preceded in death by her husband, John Grant, and granddaughter, Wendy Berry.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Larry Berry, Gainesville, GA; grandson and wife, Jason and Cindy Berry, Lula, GA; great grandson and wife, Andrew and Amanda Berry, Gillsville, GA; great granddaughter, Kayla Forrester, Lula, GA; great granddaughter and husband, Kayla and Blaze Coleman, Homer, GA; sister, Ruth Cash, Gainesville, GA; and sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Leroy Ivey, Augusta, GA. Many nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Aline are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Interment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Hall County,

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville from 2 PM until 8 PM on Monday, August 1. 2016, and again from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
