Mr. Jeffery Leon Young was born November 11, 1967 in Hall County (Flowery Branch GA). He departed this life Friday July 8, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Young was a faithful member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. He was a well known Auto-Mechanic in the Northeast GA area. Mr. Young was the son of the late Joe and Louvenia (Harper) Young, In addition to his parents Mr. Young was preceded in death by his brother, James Young, sisters: Barbara Ann Young, Leslie Lavon Young and Annie Marie Collins. In departing this life, he leaves to cherish his memories who were fortunate to bask in his infinite love, two daughters: Kayla Chatman of Gainesville, GA, Jolonda Young of Dacula, GA. He is also survived by one son Alex Young of Gainesville, GA , four sisters: Linda Baily, Mary Lois Young, Alma Jean Young, Teresa Young all of Gainesville, GA, two brothers: David E. Young of Gainesville, GA, Arthur (Mary) Young of Union City, GA, four grandchildren: Brankyla Chatman, Kymauriae Chatman, Fuchure Chatman, London Chatman, four uncles: Curtis (Charlotte) Harper, Roger (Pat) Harper, Harvey Young, and Raymond Young, six aunts: Ola Bell Harper, Dorothy Bell Fields, Mattie Hughey, Carolyn Strickland, Pearlie (Clarence) Mullins, Bobbie Nell Dorsey, and a host of nieces, other relatives and friends, special friends, Michelle Young, Sharon Saddler, Rhonda Williams, and Valerie Chatman.
Funeral services will be held at Blackshear Place Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 7:00- 8:00 PM at St. John Baptist Church (Historical Location). Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
