Charles David Hall

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles David Hall, age 73, of Oakwood, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, July 27, 2016.  Mr. Hall was born in Jefferson, Georgia, the son of the late P.P. Hall and the late Pauline Craig Hall Jenkins, was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Oakwood and was retired from Life of Georgia Insurance Company after a long career in the Insurance Industry.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall is preceded by his wife Barbara Joyce Whitehead Hall.

Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte D. Hall of Gainesville, Cindy Hall of Pendergrass, Celeste D. Tatum and her husband Charlie of Oakwood, one son, Chris D. Hall and his wife Gail of Flowery Branch and one sister, Frances McGinnis of Jefferson.  Fifteen grandchildren and twenty - seven great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday, July 31, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Brown officiating with burial to follow in Woodbine Cemetery.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers Bryan Tolbert, Michael Jones, David Hall, Brandon Gowder, Corey Mangum and Jerry Passmore.  The family will receive friends Saturday July 30, 2016, 6-9 P.M..
