Geneva Roberts Waldrep

Geneva Roberts Waldrep, age 76 of New Holland, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 3:00pm at New Holland Baptist Church with Dr. Terry Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waldrep was born January 25, 1940 in Lumpkin County, Georgia to Pratt Roberts and Ruenell Jones Roberts. Mrs. Waldrep was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Melvin Roberts and Larry “Doug” Roberts. She was a member of New Holland Baptist Church.

Mrs. Waldrep was a loving wife and mother and is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jimmy Waldrep of New Holland; daughters, Sheila Waldrep of Gainesville and Carla Waldrep of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Michelle Waldrep of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Christy Waldrep of Gainesville; grandchildren, Katelyn Waldrep, Jacob Waldrep and Alayna Waldrep.
