Pearlie Mae Williams

Ms. Pearlie Mae Williams was born May 1, 1937 in Gainesville, GA to the late James and Annie Mae Williams.  She departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Willowood Nursing Center.

Pearlie retired from Warren Featherbone after 32 years.  She was a devoted member of St. Paul UMC where she sung in the Chancellor Hymn choir as well as the May birth Month Club and the hospitality committee.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers: Clifford Williams, Homer Williams, Leroy Williams, Bo Williams, one son-in-law Louis Shang.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving, caring, and devoted children Vanessa (Dejuan) Williams of Buford, GA, Anthony Williams of Gainesville, GA, Troy (Willene) Glasper of Gainesville, GA, Lisa Shang of Gainesville, GA, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one aunt Wessie Nell Clark, special cousins: Joyce Clark, George Moody, Shell Mance, Tabitha Mance, special friends Jeanette Buffington, Alma Thomas, Annie B. Thompson, Betty Chester, Dorothy Young, Eloise Sheats, special God daughters: Tammy Bailey, Vonell Algee, Pam Wilmont, Teresa Wilder, one special God son: Ronnie (Gala) Sheats and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 702 Summit Street, SE, Gainesville, GA at 11:00 AM.  Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Wimberly & Jackson from 6:00- 8:00 PM.  Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
