Marsha Hopkins Austin, age 61 of Buford, GA died suddenly Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Marsha has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Jason Mincey will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1450 Pine Rd, Dacula, GA 30019 or the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, 845 W. Ridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30501. 

Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Austin, father, Harold Hopkins and niece, Brittany Hopkins. She is survived by her mother, Jo Hopkins, Lawrenceville, GA. Brother, Kelly Hopkins and wife, Denise, Sugar Hill, GA. Sister, Carolyn Robinson and husband, David, Braselton, GA. Brother, Keith Hopkins and wife, Laura, Roswell, GA. Step-children Cory Austin, Jana and husband Travis Brewer and grandchildren AJ and Chandler of Baton Rouge, LA and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Marsha was born in Beckley, WV and had lived in the Atlanta area the past 46 years.
