Evelyn Anglin Melton

Evelyn Anglin Melton, 71, born October 19, 1944 in Alpharetta, Ga., received her angel wings on July 11, 2016 in Jacksonville, Fl.  Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, aunt, cousin, friend, and former cosmetologist. She loved the Lord, her family, her cats, and Elvis Presley. Predeceased by her parents Otwell and Ida Mae Anglin, sister Sara, and brothers Bill and Mack. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of almost 50 years, David R. Melton; daughters, Lisa (Chris) Wainwright, Gina Melton, and Kim (Merle) Jenkins; sister, Nancy (Larry) Lawson; Grandchildren, Chelsea Crable, Ethan Jenkins, and Sari Adams; Nieces, Rosalyn Adams and Rebecca Anglin; Nephews, Jeffrey (Christy) Adams and children, Jason (Janice) Anglin, and Nathan Dempsey; and Great niece, Ansley Ames, and Great-nephew, Tyler (Payton) Anglin.

Family will receive friends with viewings on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Ga. Interment will follow at Coal Mountain Cemetery, Cumming, Ga.
