Donna Sue Chandler Barnes

Donna Sue Chandler Barnes, age 77 of Clermont, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 12:00-2:00pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Barnes was born June 20, 1939 in Gainesville, Georgia to Willis Daniel Chandler and Mamie Sue (Dyer) Chandler. She was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills and was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church and also regularly attended Lakewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James M. Barnes; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger Wayne Ballew and Kimberly Ann Ballew of Buford; daughter and son-in-law, Loys Susan Dubnik and Eddie Dubnik of Hoschton; daughter, Vonda Rochelle of Clermont; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Brian Delong of Gainesville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Bessie and Earl Gileland of Oakwood; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and Hoover Truelove of Gainesville.
