Judy Ann Roberts

Judy Ann Roberts, age 58 of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016.

Born in Habersham County, Georgia on January 17, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Gulley and Betty Harris Fry.  Ms. Roberts was a self-employed housekeeper and member of Line Baptist Church. She was always full of life and laughter and was an affectionate person who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, painting, knitting and cross stitching. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, especially the Seattle Seahawks.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Roberts was preceded in death by her step father, Rennie Fry; and brother, Steve Gulley.

Surviving are her son, Jordan Roberts of Mt. Airy; companion for 18 years, Tommy Bell of Mt. Airy; brother, Larry Gulley of Mt. Airy; sister, Maxine Fry of Cleveland; niece and spouse, Tarra & Jeffrey Jackson of Mt. Airy; niece, Amber Gulley of Mt. Airy; numerous special cousins and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 22, 2016 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow at Line Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
