Scott Alexander “Alex” Shead

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Scott Alexander “Alex” Shead, age 52, of Suwanee, who passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Mr. Shead was born in Los Angeles, California, a son to Beverly Singley Hardiman of Braselton and Swan Ray Shead of Gainesville. Mr. Shead was the owner of Alexander and Associates in Lawrenceville, the Pump’n Iron Gym in Winder, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his daughters, Avery Shead of Lagrange, Allie Shead of Lawrenceville; mother, Beverly Singley Hardiman of Braselton, father, Swan Ray Shead of Gainesville; sisters, Stacie El-Attrache of Olathe, KS, Brittany Dozier of Braselton and Jeanette Meyers of Mableton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Evans Funeral home with Reverend Greg Sweatt officiating. The visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 – 11 AM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service. A private family burial will follow on a later date in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
