Herbert Harold Puckett

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Herbert Harold Puckett, age 81, of Hoschton, who passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Mr. Puckett was born in Barrow County, a son to the late Ross and Ethel Brock Puckett. Mr. Puckett was retired from General Motors, where he worked in the Maintenance Department at the Doraville Assembly Plant. In addition to his parents, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Jeanette Church Puckett; sister, Lenora Carter; brothers, Quinton Puckett, Walter Puckett and Lloyd Puckett.

Survivors include his sons and daughter in laws, Randel and Jan Puckett, Ricky and Shirley Puckett all of Hoschton; grandchildren, Elizabeth Puckett, Benjamin Puckett and Jonathan Puckett; sister, Sally Jo Boyd of Winder; brothers, Robert Puckett of Hoschton, James Puckett and Wendell Puckett both of Winder.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2106 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park. The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5 – 9 PM at Evans Funeral Home.
