Sarah S. Hussey

Mrs. Sarah S. Hussey, age 75, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 in her home with family.

The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Sarah was born September 24, 1940 to the late Anthony & Mary Mangan Stafford in Achill Island, County Mayo, Ireland.  All her family and friends dearly loved her engaging and humorous stories of Ireland.  She showed her Catholic Faith by her hospitality and generosity.  She was preceded in death by two of her brothers and passed on the anniversary date of her granddaughter, Catherine Trimboli.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 57 years, John C. Hussey of Flowery Branch; James & Kimberly Hussey of Flowery Branch; Michael & Susan Hussey of Lawrenceville; Johnny Hussey of Flowery Branch; Maureen Davis of Woodstock; Patricia & Bill Trimboli of Sydney, Australia; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
