George Billy Smallwood

 Mr. George Billy Smallwood, age 62 of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.           

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Anthony Boggus and Reverend Henry Nicely will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.         

Mr. Smallwood was born January 13, 1954 in Jefferson, Georgia to the late George W. Smallwood and Emma Elizabeth Savage Smallwood.  He was disabled and of the Baptist Faith.  George was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shelia Faye Goodsir Smallwood. 

Mr. Smallwood is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Ashley & Marie Smallwood of Murrayville, sister, Patricia Boggus of Winder and grandchildren, Jordan, Carolean, Joanna, Claudia, Shaun, Gracie and Alexis.
