Funeral Services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday July 10, 2016 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Michael Garrett age 59 of Gainesville. The Rev. Eddie Ramey will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Garrett passed away Thursday July 7, 2016.
Mr. Garrett was born in Habersham County to the late John Henry Garrett Jr and Fannie B. Roach Garrett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Elaine Shewbert Garrett.
Survivors include sons, Levi Garrett, Bo Garrett, Cody Garrett, daughter, Martie Shewbert, sisters, Betty Hester, Joyce Kinsey, Doris Hulsey, Shirley Andrews, brothers, Travis Garrett, Timmy Crane, Scotty Cole, 10 grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
