Claire Ann McDonald

Claire Ann McDonald, age 72, of Cumming, GA, passed away on July 6, 2016. Claire was born in Newnan, GA, in 1944 to the late Olga and Lelia McDonald. Mrs. McDonald was an employee of Harry Norman Real Estate Agency for over 20 years, while working there she received an Emmy Award for sales. Claire loved the lake and enjoyed boating along with being an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Ray Roberts.

Survivors include her husband, David Sasseman of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Roderick and Hatha Rae McDonald of Winder; sister, Betty Yarbrough of Cumming; nieces, Mylinda (Frank Quatro) McDonald of Atlanta, Martha (Steven) Kocis of Suwanee, DeDe (Bill) Davis of Cumming, Peggy Roberts of Baton Rouge, LA, Madeline (Scott) Miller of Baton Rouge, LA; nephew, Rick Yarbrough of Atlanta; great nephews, Matthew and Hunter Kocis of Suwannee, Collin and Clark Douthit  of Kansas City, KS; great grand niece, Melissa Miller of LA; great grand nephews, Garrett, Grant and Grayson Davis of Cumming, David and Bubba Murphy of TX;

Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.
