Edward Berkeley Gardner

 Mr.  Edward Berkeley Gardner, 99, of Dogwood Lane, Orange died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the Culpeper Regional Hospital.  Born March 31, 1917 in Winston Virginia, he was the son of the late Edward Baptist Gardner and Lutie Jacobs Gardner.  He was also predeceased by his wife; Lorraine Littler Gardner.  He was a mechanical engineer with his own business, and a Army Veteran of World War II.

 He is survived by two sons; Ralph Gardner and wife Loretta of Woodbridge, Va. and Morgan Gardner and wife Elizabeth Darling of Asheville, NC, three grandchildren; Chris Gardner, David Gardner, and John Gardner; and one brother; Judson "Buggs" Gardner of Orange.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8 at 11:00 am in the Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery,  Gainesville, Georgia.
