She was the daughter of the late Claude L. and Cora Williams Thompson and is the last surviving member of her family. She was retired from E. Benjamin, Inc. in Baldwin, Georgia. She was a member of the First United Methodist Toccoa. She loved to play bridge, fish and enjoyed watching sports on TV. She was loved by all who knew her and always put others before herself. She was preceded in death by husband, John Franklin Stinespring, Sr. and sons John Franklin Stinespring, Jr. and Robert Claude “Bobby” Stinespring and siblings: (sisters) Maggie Thompson, (Twin) Claudine Thompson; (brothers), Orval Thompson, Doyle Thompson, and George Thompson; sisters-in-law, Sarah House Thompson and Rhoeana Cheek Thompson, Betty Stinespring Miller (Joe) and Ruth Stinespring Stoffregen (George)
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Larry Wiese of Toccoa; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Lynn Stinespring of Suwanee and Hal and Clare Stinespring of Demorest; Grandchildren, Brad (Sharleen) Stinespring, Robbie (Stasia) Stinespring, Sabrina Fishman; John Franklin Stinespring, III, Andy (Danielle), Tyler, and Elizabeth Stinespring, Lance (Kate), and Paul Stinespring; Great- grandchildren, Josh and Taylor Stinespring, Connor and Suzanna Fishman, Kate and William Stinespring, Olivia and Brianna Stinespring and Everett Stinespring; sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Crawford (Andy) and Jane Thompson, several nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces as well as great-great nephews and nieces
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016, 11 O’clock AM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty and The Reverend Roger Whiten officiating.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Brad Stinespring, Robbie Stinespring, Sean Stinespring, Andy Stinespring, Lance Stinespring, Tyler Stinespring, Paul Stinespring and Josh Stinespring.
Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Pauline Thompson Stinespring.
