Patricia Louise Newton, age 79, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday evening. Mrs. Newton was born in Marietta, GA. She was the daughter of D.B. and Ruby Braselton and the wife of the late James David Newton, Sr.
Mrs. Newton is survived by her three children, James David Newton, Jr, Kathy Newton House and Samuel Thomas (Patricia Gail) Newton; three grandchildren, Timothy Brandon House, Jennifer House Knotts and Brittany Leigh Newton; three great grandchildren, Timothy Jaydon House, Harper Reid Knotts and Piper Reese Knotts and her sister, Betty Jo Braselton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, T.J. Newton; brothers, D.B. Braselton, Bill Braselton and her sister Robena Hill. She was a proud graduate of Hoke Smith High School and retired from Shell Chemical. She was a wonderful, loving mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her life and she will be truly missed.
Funeral services for Mrs. Newton will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at noon, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Chaplain Neil Horner officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
