Bonnie Rae Watkins Collins

Mrs. Bonnie Rae Watkins Collins, age 72 of 3718 Wolf Pit Road, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, Georgia.

A daughter of the late William Narvey and Myrtle Pressley Watkins, she was born March 8, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was retired from Gem Southeast and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Collins in 2014.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Gary Thomas of Eastanollee; two brother, David Watkins of Eastanollee and Noah Watkins of Toccoa; three sisters-in-law, Betty Durden and Ruby Anderson of Toccoa and Louise Ansley of South Carolina; brothers-in-law, Bud Collins of Anderson, South Carolina and Ray Bohannon of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 27, 2016, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Roger Loggins officiating.
