Aubrey Lee Phillips

Mr. Aubrey Lee Phillips, age 87 of 128 Racetrack Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A son of the late Harvey Loveless Phillips and Lucille Thompson Phillips, he was born March 31, 1929 in Meriwether County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Manchester and the last several years in Toccoa.  He was a retired musician and of the Baptist faith.  He was a loving father and a fabulous grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Phillips, by two brothers and two sisters and by one great-grandson.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Debora West and Teresa and Donald Lance both of Toccoa; son, Donald Lee Phillips of Toccoa; grandchildren, Ricky and April West, Jr., Stacey and Gene Jones, Marianna and Bill Cooney, Tracey and Matthew Mote, Shane and Haley Adams, Warren and Kimberly Adams and Aimee and Phillip Fish; nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 24, 2016, 2 O’clock PM at Cox Funeral Home in Manchester, Georgia with the Reverend Matthew Mote officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, Georgia on Thursday from 6 PM until 8 PM.

Interment will follow in Meriwether Memory Gardens, Manchester, Georgia.
