Roger Alton Bryant

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Roger Alton Bryant, age 70 of Lula. The Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. A private interment will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Bryant passed away Saturday June 11, 2016.
Mr. Bryant was born in Jackson County to the late John Otis Bryant and Gertrell Smith Bryant. He was owner and operator of Bryant and Sons for over 50 years. He was an avid car enthusiast and car restorer. He was preceded in death by his brother Jack Bryant.

Survivors include wife, June Kathron Bryant, son, Eddie Bryant, son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Karen Bryant, sisters, Flo Merritt, Hazel Mooney, sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Earl Poole, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann and Randall Melton, grandkids, Shantina Bryant, Carson Bryant, caretaker, Judy, special friends, Brenda, Sharon, Lorrie, Wanda, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
