Ray Bower

Mr. Ray Bower, age 83, of Cleveland, Georgia passed away Jun 9, 2016. A native of Bethlehem, Georgia, he was a son of the late Sam and Pearl Perry Bower. Mr. Bower was a retired inspector with The United States Department of Agriculture. He was a former longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Batesville, Georgia. Mr. Bower was a U. S. Army Veteran and was a longtime Barrow County resident.

Surviving are Wife, Faye Kinsey Bower of Cleveland, Children, Sharon Bower of Athens, Marty and Suzannah Bower of Great Falls, Montana, Grandchildren, Andrea Tillman, Emily Tillman Casper, Samantha Tillman, Hannah Bower and Jesse Bower, Five Great Grandchildren, Brother, Warren Bower, Sisters, Rebecca Whitley and Pat Schermerhorn.

A Graveside Service will be held, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 3:00 P. M. at the Covington City Cemetery Rev. Johnny Wright and Mr. Steve Ray officiating. The Family requests that flowers please be omitted and that memorials please be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or Gideon's International, P.
