Mrs. Imogene Smith Stowers, 82 of Gainesville died Monday June 6, 2016 at her residence.
?A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Stowers was the daughter of the late Joe and Onar Smallwood Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, S.C. Stowers, Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Buck Truelove, Gainesville; Patsy and Ricky Stephens, Murrayville; grandchildren, Kyle and Blake Truelove; Brant Stephens; great grandchildren, Ansley Truelove, Dylan Truelove, Kaylie Truelove, Tori Truelove, Lucas Stephens and Special Friend and Caregiver, Mildred Dougherty and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Stowers is preceded in death by four siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 12, 2016 at the Cool Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Ricky Stone and Rev. Clifford Allen will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday June 11, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
