Luke William Terrill Martin, 16 of Gainesville died Sunday June 5, 2015 in Cairo, Ga. from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Luke was a rising junior at Chestatee High School were he was a member of the varsity track team, Chorus and the varsity competition cheerleading squad. He was a member of the Chestatee Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Tiffany Terrill Martin, brother, Tyler James Martin; sister, Katelyn Elizabeth Martin, all of Gainesville; step sister, Jazzlynn Nicole Cavender; father, James Martin, Jr., Cairo; great aunt and great uncle, Beth and Everett Elliott, Gainesville; cousins, Cindy Gossett; Angie Ferguson, Denise Elliott, all of Gainesville; a number of other relatives and special friends also survive.
Luke is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tricia Elliott Terrill and Larry Terrill.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the Chestatee Baptist Church Cemetery. Powell Sailors and Tony Howard will officiate. Interment will follow in the Chestatee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Tuesday June 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Little & Davenport Funeral Home, P.O. Box 718, Gainesville, Ga. 30503 to help with funeral expenses.
