George Edwin Bradberry

Mr. George Edwin Bradberry, age 66, of Commerce died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at his residence.  Mr. Bradberry was born in Athens to the late, Robert Donald and Grace Bettis Bradberry.  Mr. Bradberry was retired from Jackson County where he was a correction officer, he was a member of Living Waters Worship Center, and a US Air Force veteran.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Bradberry was also preceded in death by two step-sons, Kenny and Danny Puckett.

Mr. Bradberry is survived by his wife, Kay Elizabeth Carter Bradberry of Commerce; son, Bobby Bradberry of Statham; daughter, Michelle Walker of Maysville; step-son, Michael Puckett of Bogart; step-daughters, Linda Benton of Statham and Janice Bullock of Bogart; brothers, Randy Bradberry of Loganville, Don Bradberry of Hull, and Jeff Bradberry of Sugar Hill; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 8^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. William Whitfield officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5-8 PM.
