Cheryl Brown Carter

Mrs. Cheryl Brown Carter age 59 of 1396 Ayersville Road, Toccoa passed away Friday June 3, 2016 at her residence.

A daughter of Betty Nunn Brown and the late Bruce Brown, she was born on April 9, 1957 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was retired from Stephens County School System and a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church. She was the best Mom and Nana in the World. She was preceded in death by a brother Steve Brown.

Survivors include her mother Betty Nunn Brown of Toccoa, husband Mike Carter of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law Christy and Jason Ricci, Jodi and Matt Hicks , a step-daughter Dasha Martin , five grandchildren Gage Ricci, Lukas Ricci, Reese Hicks, Kohen Hicks and Brody Martin, a mother-in-law Betty Carter all of Toccoa and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday June 5, 2016 at 3 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.     

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Jason Ricci, Gage Ricci, Lukas Ricci, Greg Gunn, Charles Deal, Matt Hicks and Mark Arrowood

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
