Norma Wells Carver, age 88, of Murrayville, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Oaks at Limestone following an extended illness.
Born in Tipps City, Ohio on February 26, 1928, Norma moved to Atlanta following marriage where she lived the majority of her life. She loved music, reading , traveling and dancing and was a much loved mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Carver. She is survived by her children; Dr. Scott Carver, Saraland, AL, Craig Carver, Ballground, GA, Bonnie (Archie) Bowling, Murrayville, GA, and Dr. Brett (Terri) Stillwater, OK, her only brother, Jack (Carolyn) Wells, Toledo, OH, grandchildren; John Archie Bowling , Jr. (Lauren), Roswell, Ga, Matthew (Kelly) Carver, Austin, TX, Dr. Jason (Breann) Carver, Stillwater, OK, Amanda Carver, Owen Carver, both of Decatur, Ga, Taylor Carver, Stuart Carver, both of Kennesaw, GA, great-grandchildren; Ollie Carver and Edith Aurora Bowling.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 am in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home with Rev. Les Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
