On Sunday May 22, 2016 heaven received their new life of the party, because the world's spunkiest angel returned to her heavenly home after an adventurous and abundant life. Her earthly time ended due to an unforeseen and unfortunate car accident. Chloé Okelo, born June 2, 1994, was a radiant beam of joy and light to all those that were blessed by her presence. At a young age she was noticed for her bold personality, captivating beauty, and knacks for acting and singing. She stole the stage in many acting, modeling, and talent competitions throughout her youth. Chloé proved what she was made of while attending Forsyth Central High School, playing on the school's nationally ranked volleyball team, excelling in scholastics, and creating lasting friendships. The University of Georgia was lucky enough to receive a true Bull Dog when Chloé decided to move to Athens. At UGA Chloé was a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional fraternity for Marketing students who would soon take the world by storm. Using her incredible interpersonal skills, love of adventure, and intelligence, she excelled working as a Product Specialist for Tesla. You read correct, Chloé worked for THE Tesla. She was the real deal. She is watching over and patiently saving many spots in heaven for her family, including her loving mummy Shikwe, or as Chloé would have called her, Catherine, her sweet, supportive dad Michaux, and her remarkable, yet "annoying" little sister Temwa. In addition, she awaits many, many dear friends, especially her life long friend CC and the man who captured her heart, her best friend and Beeb, Luca.
Chloé has left behind a legacy of love and adventure; she touched many lives through her tenderness, spontaneity, friendship, compassion, and unquenchable desire to bring joy and laughter to those around her. Chloé lives on through her gifts to us–our unforgettable memories of her love, happiness, and companionship. Please join us in celebrating Chloé's legacy and victory in life's adventures
