Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday May 27, 2016 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Lillie Mae Smith age 94 of Gainesville. The Rev. Mark Russell will officiate. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016.

Mrs. Smith was born in South Carolina to the late John Loggins and Lillie Morrison Loggins. She was of the Pentecostal faith and had lived most of her life in Hall County. She raised children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by all. Rest in Peace. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Wesley Patterson, second husband, Frank Junior Smith, son, Billy Patterson, sisters, Ida Mae Standridge, Gurty Mae Allison, brothers, Tal Loggins, Dewey Loggins, grandsons, Alvin George Edge and Aarron Edge.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Kay Buffinton, granddaughter and husband, Kay and Bill Kytle, granddaughter, Lisa Buffington, great-grandchildren, Matthew Burkett, Kristopher Burkett, Jessica and Lacie Kytle, great great-granddaughter, Emma Kytle, all of gainesville and a number of other relatives.
