Mr. William Edward Harvey age 62 of 1930 Wolfpit Road, Eastanollee passed away Friday May 20, 2016 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.
A son of Mary Lou Long Harvey and the late Junior Harvey, he was born on June 14, 1953 in Stephens County where he lived all of his life. He worked for a number of years for Acree Oil Company and Trogdon Furniture Company and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother Mary Lou Harvey of Toccoa, his wife Karen Ayers Harvey of the home, a daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Jeremy Poole of Toccoa, three grandchildren Dillon Poole, Conner Poole and Allie Harvey, a sister Barbara Crunkleton of Toccoa and a nephew Bradley and Sabrina Crunkleton of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 P.M. at the Eastanollee Baptist Church with the Reverend Ricky McFarlin officiating. The family will be at the daughter’s home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Bradley Crunkleton, Avery McIntyre, Todd Wade, Daniel Hambrick, Mark Lowery, Wayne Poole, Chris Thompson and Kenny Peeples.
Interment will follow in the Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery.
