James Byron Jordan

Mr. James Byron Jordan, age 86 of Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina.

A son of the late J.W. and Dora Stamey Jordan, he was born April 7, 1930 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived for a number of years in Mauldin, South Carolina and back to Stephens County in 1990.  He was retired as Truck Leasing Manager with Penske Truck Leasing, was a Mason and Shriner and was of the Methodist faith.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mimie Lee Jordan in 2005.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Emily Jordan of Anderson, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Alison Garson (John) and Amy Ladd(Philip) and three great-grandchildren, Alexander and Aidan Garzon and Jordan Ladd; sister, JoAnn Bruner of Eastanollee, Georgia.

Memorial services will be Thursday, May 19, 2016, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Dr. David Keister officiating.
