Frederick “Buck” Buckalew

Mr. Frederick “Buck” Buckalew, age 72, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 following an extended illness.

He was born in Louisville, KY and worked as an Engineer in the oil industry. He served his country in the United States Navy and was an avid car enthusiast.

Buck is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Erin Buckalew, Flowery Branch, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Chris Pope, Haddock, GA; sisters, Patsy Incerto, Pueblo, CO and Suzanne Pierce, El Prado, New Mexico; lifelong best friend, Wayne Devendorf, Pueblo, CO; caregiver, Cheryl Dykes; and 5 grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregiver, Cheryl Dykes and Homestead Hospice for the quality compassionate care for Buck.

Per his wishes, Buck was cremated and a private family service will be held.
