Jessie Kenneth Wellborn

Mr. Jessie Kenneth Wellborn, age 78, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with a private interment at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Dennis West will officiate.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Wellborn was born May 14, 1937 to the late Carlyle Morgan & Margie Lee Wellborn in Lawrenceville.  He served in the Navy and was retired from Keith Hosch Hauling, where he had been a Truck Driver.  Mr. Wellborn was also preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Singleton.

Mr. Wellborn is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Wellborn of Flowery Branch; children, Mark & Faye Wellborn of Braselton, Lynn Wellborn of Flowery Branch, Rev. Ken & Cheryl Wellborn of Gainesville and Kim Wellborn of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Amber Wellborn, Jessica Wellborn and Keegan Wellborn; brother & sister-in-law, Paul & Ruth Wellborn of Gatlinburg, Tennessee; brother-in-law, W.L. Singleton of Florida; and several nieces & nephews.
