Patsy Ann Herrington

         Mrs. Patsy Ann Herrington, age 78 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Terry Benefield will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Herrington was born August 14, 1937 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late James Emory Holland and Ida Ruth Rich Holland.  She was retired from the Poultry Industry and was also the owner/operator of H G. Florist for a number of years.  Patsy was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest Herrington and her sister & brother-in-law, June & Davis West. 

Mrs. Herrington is survived by her brothers & sisters-in-law, Hugh & Ruby Holland of Clermont and Herbie & Angela Holland of Cleveland, step-sons, Stevie Herrington and Ricky Herrington, both of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
