Gregory R. Kilgore

Mr. Gregory R. Kilgore, age 67, of Buford passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 – 4:00p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the American Legion, Post 127, 2640 Sawnee Avenue, Buford, GA  30518.

Mr. Kilgore was born January 18, 1949 to June Carolyn Kilgore Bowser and the late Robert Lee Kilgore in Oakwood.  A lifelong Hall County Resident, he was a very active member of the America Legion, Post 127 and a Purple Heart recipient serving in the Army during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Kilgore worked at SKF for 21 years and loved the outdoors.

Mr. Kilgore is survived by his wife, Jean Kilgore of Buford; children, William Clayton Kilgore of Flowery Branch, Trampas (Heather) Lee of Dawsonville, Jason Lee of Buford, June Marie (Lance) Warwick of Dahlonega, Candace Leigh (James) Gorisek of Reno, Nevada, and Angela Jeanne Kilgore of West Palm Beach, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; mother, June Bowser of Altamonte Springs, Florida; and sisters, Cheryl Lynn Kilgore of Altamonte Springs, Florida and Marsha Yvette (Robert) Partridge of Troy, Alabama.
