Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Teresa Wynette Echols Maney, age 46 of Murrayville. Teresa passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00pm, Thursday, May 12, 2106 in the funeral home chapel.
Teresa was born in Floyd County on May 29, 1969 to the late Dan Echols Sr. and Lynda Treadway Echols. She had lived most of her life in Rome, Georgia and had lived in the Murrayville area for the past two years. Teresa was employed with the Huddle House in Cleveland, first as a server, late be promoted to floor manager, a position she would hold until her health began to decline. Teresa will be well remembered for her smile and the way she treated her customers, many of whom would ask for her by name, but this attitude wasn’t confined to her job, outside of work, Teresa had that same smile and warmth with everyone she met. She is survived by her spouse, Mistie Maney of Murrayville; daughter, Amber Nixon of Dawsonville; son, Chris Maney ( Jenna) of Cleveland; brothers, Don Echols Jr and Chris Johnson both of Rome; sister, Elaine Barnett of Rome. Teresa is also survived by her grandchildren, Jaxson, Tatum and Madden
