Marilyn Kay Shelton, 61 of Gainesville passed away Sunday May 8, 2016 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Shelton was born March 20, 1955 in Gainesville to the late Oscar & Willie Mae Chastain Noblet. She was a homemaker and of the holiness faith. Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband, Delmus Harold Shelton, and a brother, Oscar Eddie Noblet.
Survivors include, daughter, Sherry Shelton of Clayton, son, Anthony Shelton of Gainesville, sisters, Cora Crow of Gainesville, Ann Harris of Mt. Airy, 5 grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 11, 2016 in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Rising officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
