Bessie Mae Fowler Jordan

Bessie Mae Fowler Jordan, age 71, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Pruitt Healthcare in Toccoa.

A daughter of the late G.L. and Mary Lou Davis Fowler, she was born August 22, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Clayton, County, Georgia.  She retired from J.C. Penny after 30 years of service.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Jean Griffin of Toccoa, GA, Mamie Steele of Rex, GA and her twin sister Faye Montcalm of Powder Springs, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 O’clock  Friday, May 6, 2016 , at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home. with the Reverend Dorsey Holmes officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the service time on Friday.
