David Allen Gloyd

Mr. David Allen Gloyd, age 79, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mr. Gloyd was born in Sharon, CT to the late George Casper and Rose Purdy Gloyd.  He was retired from K Mart.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Gloyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Gill.

Mr. Gloyd is survived by his wife, Rosemary Kalba Gloyd of Commerce; son, David Gloyd, Jr. of Flowery Branch; daughter, Barbara Hughes of Canton; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Monday, May 9 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Manus officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5 to 7 PM.
