Joseph Paul (Joey) Robinson

Joseph Paul (Joey) Robinson, age 42 of Gillsville, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 on his farm following a sudden illness.
    Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Leon Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
    Mr. Robinson was born January 11, 1974 in Gainesville, Georgia to Robert Robinson and Janie Free Robinson. He was a graduate of East Hall High School and was employed with Hall County Animal Control. Mr. Robinson was a member of Mt. Creek Baptist Church.
    Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Vicki Gooch Robinson of Gillsville; stepson, Troy Thompson of Gainesville; stepdaughter, Alexis Thompson of Gainesville; parents, Robert and Janie Robinson of Gillsville; sister and brother-in-law, Misty Robinson Smith and Kem Smith of Gillsville; sister and brother-in-law, Robin Robinson Jones and Gary Jones of Gainesville; special aunt, Lisa Millwood of Gainesville; nephew, Jourdan Smith and niece, Karson Smith Young.
