Juddie Smith Watkins

Mrs. Juddie Smith Watkins, age 94, of North Fork, Lavonia, GA, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the Pruitt Healthcare of Toccoa. 

Daughter of the late Judge J. and Ella Howell Smith, she was born October 11, 1921 in Stephens County, GA were she lived the greater part of her life and the last 30 years in Lavonia, GA.  She was employed with the Stephens County Hospital for a number of years as a switchboard operator. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Jack Watkins who passed away in 1993, and by a son Daniel Johnny Watkins.

Survivors include son and his wife Bobby and Jean Watkins of Lavonia, GA, 3 nieces, Mildred Hoppenbrouwer, Glenda Stidham and Pam Hartbarger, 1 nephew, Richard Llewellyn.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 3, 2016, 2 PM at the Toms Creek Cemetery with the Reverend Bruce Moore and the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.

The family will be at the home in Lavonia and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 until 8 PM. Condolences may be made online.  www.acree-davisfh.com

Interment will be in the Toms Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Juddie Smith Watkins.
