Rush Winn

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Rush Winn, age 32 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Wednesday, April 27, 2016.  Mr. Winn was born in Athens, Georgia the son of Greg and Vicki Palmer Winn of Jefferson and was a HVAC Technician.  Preceding Rush are his grandparents; Jim and Dot Palmer and Emmett R. Winn.

Survivors in addition to his parents are two daughters, Destiny and Serenity Winn of Commerce, sister, Fallon Metcalf and her husband Shane of Athens.  Grandmother, Doris Winn of Athens, two nephews; Max and Luke Metcalf of Athens, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Minister Tom Plank officiating, burial will follow at a later date in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 A.M., prior to the service Saturday.  Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to International Bipolar Foundation, 8755 Aero Drive, Suite 310, San Diego, CA  92123
