Mrs. Annie Bramlett Smith, age 91 of 2278 Providence Church Road, Lavonia passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at her home.
A daughter of the late Frank and Estelle Rider Bramlett, she was born November 16, 1924 in Washington, Georgia having lived most of her life in Franklin and Stephens Counties. She was retired from Coats and Clark with 29 years of service and was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church in Walhalla, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Belvin Smith in 2006 and by a son, Ray Smith.
Survivors include a daughter, Louise Daniels of Lavonia; three grandchildren, Kim Campbell, Linda Carey and Darrell Smith; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Ephemia Smith of Toccoa; sister-in-law, Frances Bramlett of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016, 3:30 PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Truitt Brawner and The Reverend Roger Elrod officiating. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers, Chris Campbell, Darrell Smith, Jesse Carey, Nicholas Pfrogner, William Bramlett and Steve Rollins.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 PM until the service time. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.
