Mary Alice Davis

Miss Mary Alice Davis, age 78 of Falls Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday April 24, 2016 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A daughter of the late Anderson H. and Mozelle Smith Davis, she was born November 20, 1937 in Stephens County, Georgia. She was a 1955 graduate of Toccoa High School, a veteran of the U.S. Navy Waves, was employed with Blue Circle Concrete in Atlanta for a number of years and a member of Hill Street Baptist Church and the Ladies SS Class.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Morris Davis and Jesse Davis and by a sister, Connie Vinson.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Cheryl Davis of Lilburn, Georgia and Mark and Debbie Davis of Loganville, Georgia; two sisters, Pauline Martin of Toccoa and Carol Davis of Marietta, Georgia; sister-in-law, Elver Davis of Flowery Branch, Georgia; brother-in-law, John Vinson of Oakwood, Georgia; number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016, 1 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Paul Garrison officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers, Matt Davis, Scott Davis, Davis Martin, Shannon Martin, Jeremey Means and Roger Martin.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12 noon until the service time. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.
