Sammy L. Nix, 65, of Clarkesville GA passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Cleveland, Ga..

A Memorial service will be held 6 PM Tuesday April 26, 2016 at the Skitts Mtn. Baptist Church, the Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate, the family will receive friends from 5 till 6 just before the service. Mr. Nix was born Gainesville, Ga. to the late Billy and Leona Whitmire Nix, he had worked at General Motors for many years.

Surviving are 2 Daughters - Elaina Nix and April Truelove. 2 sons - Jamie Gibson and Will Nix, Sister and Brother in law - Nancy and Mike Eberhardt, Grandchildren, Taylor, Levi and Sammy Joe Bryan, Isabell Song, Emma Nix, and Joshua, Andrew and Jacob Truelove. a great grandchild - Nolan Rogers as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
