Debbie Kay Taylor

Debbie Kay Taylor, age 55 of Clarkesville passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her residence. 

Born in Demorest, Georgia on July 17, 1960, Debbie was the daughter of Evelyn Allen Sweeten and the late R. L. Taylor.  Before moving to Georgia Debbie worked for Best Buy at their headquarters office in Minnesota.  She had been disabled for the last 17 years.  Debbie was an avid reader and writer. She collected foreign artwork and recipes.   

Survivors include her mother Evelyn Allen Sweeten of Demorest, daughter Ivory Katese Taylor of Minnesota, son Michael “Josh” Taylor of Minnesota, brother Jeffery “Scott” Taylor of Demorest, sisters Cindy Lynn Taylor of Cornelia and Martha Jean Taylor of Demorest, grandchildren Anthony Michael Taylor, Juno Kupcis-Taylor, and Miles Kupcis-Taylor, as well as a large extended family. 

The family will receive friends at Hillside Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM
