Clarence Perry Cochran

Obituary Date: Monday, April 18, 2016

            Mr. Clarence Perry Cochran, age 85 of Gillsville, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.

                Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

                Mr. Cochran was born on August 12, 1930 in Hall County to the late James Cochran and Hassie Payne Cochran. He worked at New Holland Mill and was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church # 1. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Newell Cochran.

                Mr. Cochran is survived by his daughter, Yuvonne Cochran of Gainesville, grandson, Scotty Martinez, grand-daughter, Kristan Boyd, and grandson, Brandon Carter, brother and sister-in-law, Elbert and Wanda Cochran, sister-in-law,  Arrahwonah Woodall, brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Louise Jarrard, and a number of nieces and nephews.
